Social Committee

At ACUMED® whilst we work hard we also find time to enjoy ourselves and let our hair down (those of us that still have some that is)! There are a number of events and activities arranged in the four offices throughout the year.

The social calendar has included all manner of things, including the monthly Oatcake breakfast service (if you’ve never tried a Staffordshire oatcake you don’t know what you’re missing!), Saint’s Day celebrations, Valentines, Summer Ball, auctions and fundraisers.

There is a serious note to the fun that is had, as each year we choose a charity to support and all monies raised throughout that year are given to that cause. The 2009 selected Charity was The East Cheshire Hospice and as of November 2009 we had raised £2,278.77, which is a fantastic effort from everyone.
